A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Created in three days for the "GDC Relief Jam".

This was originally part of the GDC Relief Bundle, from Mar. 27 to Apr. 3, 2020. It's now available as a stand-alone piece.

Explore a small scene in flight, collecting snippets regarding some of the connections that we can have.

Controls:

  •  Mouse-only, or keyboard, or gamepad. (Or a combination, if you prefer.)

Post-jam update to v.1.1:

  • Fixed some missing materials in the "alcove", thus making the illustrations and pen there properly black.
  • Touched up the look of the "cave" just a little bit.

I can only agree with @kittet3 in that I enjoyed the soothing flapping around the little island. I liked the golden glow the bird emitted and my favorite moment was emerging from the hidden path through the caves behind the waterfall.

At first I missed the hitbox of the collectible and thought I needed to press a button but on the next flyover I hit it right in the center. I collected all six messages and enjoyed the snippets, especially the one about the footprints we leave.

Thank you very much for your comment, and for playing the game! And I'm glad that you seem to have enjoyed it, and like the snippets included! ^_^

Ah, yes, I do like that "footsteps" snippet. And it is a sweet and precious thing that it describes, I feel. ^_^

I can definitely believe that the hit-boxes could be bigger: generally speaking, I think that it's better to provide larger hit-boxes for things that it's positive for players to collide with (and smaller ones for things that it's negative for players to collide with).

So calming! I didn't think I'd find all of the collectibles, but it was so fun flying around that they all turned up.

Ah, I'm really glad that you found it so positive, and that you did find everything in the end!

Thank you: for playing, for the lovely comment, and for making a video of your playthrough. ^_^

I really liked the sounds. Chill music and I felt like the sounds of flying matched what I was doing.

Thank you very much! I'm very glad that you did so like those elements! ^_^

LET ME PLAY THIS PLS

COME ON, STELLA WANT'S TO'S PLAY'S IT'S

It's available in the pay-what-you-want bundle, linked at the top! At time of writing, you should still have one day in which to get it!

Thank you very much for being so interested in the game! ^_^

Update!

With the jam and fundraiser well and truly over, the game has been made freely available to download by itself! ^_^
